🪂 Experienced Skydivers – Sport Jumping in the Algarve

For licensed and experienced skydivers, the Algarve offers perfect conditions for sport jumping: clear skies, sea views, and ideal weather all year round.

Before joining the dropzone, please ensure you meet the required experience level and bring all the necessary documents for check-in.

📋 Experienced Skydiving Information

All experienced skydivers must present the following on arrival:

• Valid skydiving licence

• Logbook

• Third-party insurance

• Photo ID (passport or national ID card)

To speed up your registration, please complete the E-waiver via the web version of Burble prior to arrival.
Access to the airfield is only granted with valid photo identification.

Minimum requirements:

• 100 jumps and a B License (or equivalent) are required for all beach landings.

• Water training is highly recommended.

• Skydivers with 1,000+ jumps may opt to land inside the airfield.

📅 Beach landings are available from Wednesday to Sunday, between October and May.

💶 Jump Prices

• 1 Jump → €34

• Block of 10 Jumps → €335

• Packjob → €7.50

• Kit Hire (per jump, packjob included) → €21

• Altimeter or Suit Hire (per day, ID required) → €5

🎟️ Tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable, and valid for 18 months.

🪖 Information & Documentation for Check-In

Upon arrival, all jumpers will go through a document and equipment inspection to ensure the highest level of safety for all participants.

Following this, a Dropzone Briefing and Landing Area Introduction will be given by authorized personnel.

🧰 Equipment Inspection

Ensure your personal equipment is suitable for the type of jump you intend to perform.

To be cleared as freefly-friendly, your gear must have:

• Non-velcro riser covers

• Exposed main bridle cover

• A BOC (bottom-of-container) in good condition

• Leg-strap bungee

The dropzone reserves the right to restrict jumping with equipment that does not meet the required standards for safety, experience level, or jump type. This includes main and reserve canopy sizes.

🪂 Canopy Guidelines

• Semi or Fully Elliptical (High Performance): Minimum 200 jumps

• Higher Performance Elliptical (e.g. Katana): Minimum 500 jumps

• Cross-Braced (X-Braced): Minimum 750 jumps

• High Performance X-Braced (e.g. Leia, Valkyrie): Minimum 1,500 jumps

⚠️ Fluid Wings canopies are currently not accepted.
