Explore the famous grottos of Ponta da Piedade, one of the most impressive natural landmarks on the Algarve coast, on a guided boat tour departing from Lagos Marina. This route reveals hidden beaches only accessible by sea, narrow cave passages, turquoise lagoons and unique rock formations shaped by the Atlantic over thousands of years. As the boat enters the caves, your guide shares stories about Lagos. Learn about local legends and the unusual rock formations that many visitors compare to shapes such as Twins, Titanic, Iceberg, Elephant, Cathedral, and even a Camel’s Head. The experience is operated in modern, comfortable boats with cushioned seats. It is suitable for a small group (10 passengers max.) creating a more personal atmosphere throughout the tour.
Special tip ❤️: Morning departures often offer calmer water inside the caves and clearer reflections on the turquoise lagoon.
