The Ria Formosa is a place of extreme nature, with an environment that is always different at every hour of the day. This is largely due to the fact that sea levels rise and fall by about 3 meters every 6 hours.
While there, you will discover a completely self-regenerating ecosystem, which allows part of the local population to develop fishing and seafood production.
This provides all the ingredients for the varied diets of the migratory birds that continue to return to this area year after year.
Watch predatory birds hunt or enter a maze of canals where the only thing you’ll hear is birdsong and their interactions with each other. At the end of the tour, you will return by boat to the ria formosa birdwatching tour’s starting point.
We do not refund customer cancellations less than 24 hours prior to departure. For cancellations of customers with more than 24 hours before departure, we refund the amount in full.
Our tours are subject to weather and sea conditions. In the event of unfavorable weather conditions, we will contact you to reschedule or provide a refund. Additionally, the company reserves the right to cancel a trip if it does not reach the minimum number of passengers. Customers will receive a full refund in such cases.
