This full-day private sailing cruise from Portimão takes approximately 6 hours. Our modern sailing yachts can take up to 10 guests. This is a private cruise, so you’ll have the boat for yourself and a multilingual private skipper will guide you.

With departure from the modern Marina of Portimão, this day trip is ideal for families and groups of friends that wish to enjoy the Algarve’s coastline in peace. Enjoy some unlimited sunbathing and swimming or get involved in the art of sailing.
Witness the Algarve from an exclusive perspective onboard your private sailing yacht. Sunbathe and swim anchored in a beautiful bay with nothing around you but crystal clear water, sandstone cliffs, and deserted beaches.
During your 6 hours out at sea, we have multiple suggested itineraries. We always like heading West visiting the cliffs and caves that make this area famous. In fact, Lagos and its famous Ponta da Piedade are a popular destination on our day trips. We love anchoring there and explore the smallest grottos and secluded beaches by dinghy. Along the way you will see the towns of Ferragudo and Alvor. We’ll also cruise by Ponta João D’Arens and Praia do Vau.
We can also head East towards the world-famous Benagil Caves and the unique rock formations of Praia da Marinha. We’ll sail by the cute town of Carvoeiro and Praia do Carvalho and lots of other attractions that not everyone knows about because you can only get there by boat.
For lunch, we can get on land in Alvor or Lagos for example (not included) or we can add a complete premium catering to your day trip (as an extra). We can serve a three-course meal and drinks while anchored in a beautiful bay.
Whether you prefer not to cruise too much and simply anchor and chill or prefer to experience the art of sailing, you’ll surely be amazed by the stunning coastline of the Algarve. Get your camera out for the impressive rock formations and hidden beaches. You may want the weather and wind conditions to help you decide what to do.

Weather : Our trips/ Itinerary are always dependant on weather and sea conditions. Although it is very rare, trips may have to be changed to a different date or canceled due to rough weather. This decision is made by Portiate. We will always take in account our clients best interest. If an agreement cannot be reached for a different date, a full refund of the booking fee will be returned to the customer.

We do not refund customer cancellations less than 24 hours prior to departure. For cancellations of customers with more than 24 hours before departure, we refund the amount in full.
This activity can be conditioned by the weather and conditions of the sea. We can, in case of bad weather or uncomfortable sea conditions, cancel the trip by fully refunding the amount paid or rebooking the trip to another time.
Our tours are subject to weather and sea conditions. In the event of unfavorable weather conditions, we will contact you to reschedule or provide a refund. Additionally, the company reserves the right to cancel a trip if it does not reach the minimum number of passengers. Customers will receive a full refund in such cases.
