From Lagos : Boat Tour Along the Coast of Lagos

We visited Lagos in the end of May 2023, when the weather was not too hot and the ocean's water was already warm enough to swim. We decided to take a coast boat trip and chose the BlueFleet because they were close to our hotel. On the day of the trip we assembled at the train station and we went to the marina. The boat was big enough for all of us, it was looking very nice and well-maintained. The captain and the guide were very friendly. We took a coast cruise with the possibility to swim in the ocean. That was a very wise decision. During the trip the guide (who speaks many different languages) told us a lot about the history of Lagos, its old fortress,named all beaches and showed interesting rock formations. But the most interesting was getting with a boat into very narrow caves, where we were completely surrounded by rocks. The captain was very skillful! When we were on the way back, the captain stopped the boat at a beautiful location and let everyone to have a swim. The boat was equipped with a ramp that allowed to get in and out of the water without an effort. I took a diving mask and enjoyed the swim very much. At the same time the guide offered refreshments to those who decided not to swim in 18 C water. Overall, the trip was excellent and the personnel was very friendly and took care about the guests the best possible way. Thank you, BlueFleet!

Thank you for a wonderful cruise! We all had a great time! The highlights for us were seeing the caves and jumping off the back of the boat into the refreshing sparkling sea! The guides were very friendly and accommodating, answering any questions we had. We didn’t see any dolphins this trip but we were told they do sometimes see them. Amazing views and a very relaxed vibe on the upper deck. Their office just inside the train station near Lagos Marina was easy to find and we had drinks at the cafe while we were waiting.
