On this birdwatching boat tour in Olhão, the captain is an experienced bird watcher and he will be your guide. The captain will be happy to teach you about the species you encounter.

The Ria Formosa Natural Reserve covers an area of 14,000 hectares protected by a complex web of sand barriers and dunes stretching 60 km along the coast. It is a home to more than 20,000 water birds, especially during winter. Birdwatching in Olhão takes place throughout the year.
Some of the most interesting species that we often observe in Ria Formosa are the black-necked grebe (podiceps nigricollis), the spoonbill (Platalea leucorodia), the oystercatcher (Haematopus ostralegus), flamingo (roseus phoenicopterus), seagull (limosa lapponica), Mediterranean gull (Larus melanocephalus), cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo), little heron (egretta garzeta), great heron (Ardea cinerea), white stork (ciconia ciconia), among others.

We do not refund customer cancellations less than 24 hours prior to departure. For cancellations of customers with more than 24 hours before departure, we refund the amount in full.
Our tours are subject to weather and sea conditions. In the event of unfavorable weather conditions, we will contact you to reschedule or provide a refund. Additionally, the company reserves the right to cancel a trip if it does not reach the minimum number of passengers. Customers will receive a full refund in such cases.
