Discover the wonders of nature on the Ria Formosa and be amazed and dazzled by this fragile and complex ecosystem considered to be one of Portugal’s seven wonders.
On this tour you will have the opportunity to observe the Natural Park of the Ria Formosa navigating through its channels. You will walk on white sands and sail through the calm waters of the Ria Formosa. We will have a lovely stop on a desert island where you can have a swim, relax and walk on the beach with wonderful white sand. Then we stop at one of the island communities. Can be Ilha do Farol or Ilha da Culatra. Throughout the tour the skipper will give a detailed explanation of the entire Ria Formosa, its fauna and flora and its fishing activities.
With the biggest inlet of water of all the Ria Formosa and being near the cape of Santa Maria, the most southern point of Portugal, these island has an extremely beauty marked by its imposing lighthouse.
With a very typical and genuine village of mostly fisherman that inhabit the island all year through, with lots of interest and cultural aspects.
