Get ready for an unforgettable introduction to the underwater world with our Diving Baptism Experience in Albufeira . Designed for beginners, this activity combines theory, pool training, and a real sea dive. All under the close supervision of a certified instructor.

You’ll learn the essentials of diving, practice your skills in a controlled environment, and then set off on a guided dive to a depth of up to 12 meters , where a colorful reef and vibrant marine life await.

• 📘 Theory Class – Learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, safety rules, and how to use your equipment.

• 🏊 Pool Practice – Perform key safety exercises and gain confidence underwater.

• 🚤 Boat Trip & Sea Dive – Enjoy a short boat ride to a natural reef and dive for around 30 minutes , always accompanied by your instructor (maximum 2 students per instructor).

• 📜 SSI Certification – Receive an official SSI certificate valid for 6 months , allowing you to dive up to 12 m with a professional.

⚠️ Activity Requirements & Conditions

• Minimum age: 10 years old (1.40 m tall minimum)

• Must be able to swim

• Not suitable for pregnant participants

• Dive depth: maximum 12 m

• Duration of sea dive: approx. 30 minutes

• Participants must complete a medical questionnaire before diving

For safety reasons, we are not responsible for loss or damage of personal belongings during the activity.

🏊 Pool Safety Exercises

Before diving in the ocean, you’ll learn and practice:

• Mask partial clearing

• Regulator recovery and cleaning

• Regulator clearing

• Buoyancy control and breathing techniques

Once completed, you’ll be fully prepared for your first dive in the sea!

🐠 Your Diving Experience Step-by-Step

1️⃣ Check-In & Briefing – Meet at our Albufeira Marina shop, fill out the RTCW form and medical questionnaire.
2️⃣ Theory Lesson – Learn the basics of scuba diving and safety.
3️⃣ Pool Session – Practice mandatory skills in a controlled environment.
4️⃣ Sea Dive by Boat – Explore a natural reef with your instructor (2 students per instructor).
5️⃣ Post-Dive Relax – Return to our center with hot showers and receive your SSI certification.
